One sure fire way to bolster your craft is to work on reference studies. The process is difficult because you are trying to emulate 1 to 1, so hang in there, trust the process and see it through until its full completion. I was so close to dropping this piece, where I thought it wasnt possible to nail the features shown in the photo. But I pulled through!

(It wont show well in the timelapse, but you can spot my frustration when you see the eyes becoming all droopy and when the shading went bonkers)
