Johannes Vermeer Classical #1

I want to share this awesome challenge that David Larson has brought up and is bringing it here to ArtStation.

It's called the #30artistschallenge !

The concept is to study 30 artists
(15 modern artists from 2003 to now and 15 classical artists 2002 and prior)

Grab just one of their pieces or study a bunch by drawing/painting their work, alongside notes from what makes them unique.

No deadline and you can share your list with anyone!

Only catch is that..... you can only site 5 anime artists! Haha, got to keep it diverse xD
(trust me I think I would of added about 7-9 modern artists concerning anime)

For me I'm going to start this one off with a blast from the past Johannes Vermeer. He was called the master of light and rightly so! His ability to capture the moment, allows for us to be IN the room alongside his subject.

Can't wait to get started on my next piece and see what you all bring to the table. What a perfect way to enhance the art palette
