Alas, the star of the show!
This was my benchmark, to see how I can push the boundaries of my craft. My second commission for @thexplanations & @kedoshimstudios regarding S.A.O. was to have him in a action pin up.
Originally I was going to have him one on one with a demon character, however through process of elimation and test some new skills, I put him against 3 demon warriors.
Taking my dive again into lineless art, giving new flavor to my priginal workflow. Really digging deep and trying to nail the aesthetic and feel for the battle against S.A.O.
This piece took a whomping 32 hours to create, as I struggled through defining armor pieces and enemy designs. As well as figuring out a specific backgeluns for the 4 characters to duke it out in.
To say it was an honor, is saying too little. Being able to prove my skills as an artist and creator, helped pushed the boundaries of my talent. This type of work is what I dream of doing, creating concept art and bringing it to life in the most glorious way possible. I cannot wait to see what's in store in the near future.
